CDP’s response amendments policy

You can amend your response directly via the Portal without needing to contact CDP. There are no restrictions on what data can be amended or added and Disclosers can fill in questions that had been previously left blank. The only exception to this is the response privacy field: you cannot change a response that was previously public to become non-public.

Once you have submitted your response, you can edit your response at any time until November 19. However, for amendments to your response to be scored, you must submit your final response by the scoring deadline of September 17.

Important: edits that are made following a submission and not resubmitted will not be scored. Therefore, if you choose to edit your response following a submission, please resubmit your edited response as soon as possible and by the scoring deadline of September 17.

You may choose to edit your response following the addition of late requests or if you want to make edits to your submitted response.

Note: only the Submission Lead can re-submit the edited response, but Contributors can change a submitted response into amendment/edit status and contribute to the edits.

How to edit your response post submission

  1. Sign in to the Portal.

  2. Click ‘Edit submission’ if you want to make changes to your submitted questionnaire.

Note: a response that is edited and resubmitted prior to September 17 will be scored. Edits resubmitted after this date will not be scored, and you will be scored based on your response submitted before the scoring deadline. Therefore, please resubmit your edited response as soon as possible.

  1. Once you have clicked ‘Edit submission’, your questionnaire is now open for edits.

  1. Click on a section to edit your questionnaire response.

  1. Answer or edit any question as needed.

  1. Click ‘Back to overview’ when you have completed any required edits.

  1. Click ‘Submit edits’ when you have finished editing your response and are ready to resubmit.

Note: if your initial submission is public, your amended submission will also be public. If your initial submission was non-public, you will be given the option to keep it non-public or change it to public. If you choose public, then your amended response and your initial response will both become public upon resubmission.

  1.  Complete all submission steps and click ‘Submit questionnaire’.

Important: You must click ‘Submit questionnaire’ for edits to be integrated into your response. Any response that remains in the amendment state will not be scored.
